![]() ![]() But it’s nice to hear some songs that may have fallen to the wayside and now get resurrected with new life. With a new album just released recently titled, ‘Still Cyco Punk After All These Years’ is basically a re-recording of Muir’s solo album from 1996. Plenty of crowd-pleasing songs like “Send Me Your Money”, “War Inside My Head”, “I Saw Your Mommy”, “How Will I Laugh” and of course the one that put them on the map, “Institutional” and the ever-famous lyrics, All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi. The audience was hyped and moshing was in full effect. But no doubt having as much if not more energy at the beginning of the show. These guys had the jams humming and Muir was a bundle of energy to the point where later in the show he ran his finger across his forehead, squeezing sweat from his bandana. Joining Muir was Dean Pleasants on guitar, Ra Diaz on bass guitar, and Dave Lombardo on drums. Suicidal Tendencies is a band that’s been around since 1980 and meshes so many styles of rock and roll, from thrash metal, punk rock, funk and alternative it’s like they’ve thrown all these genres into a blender and created a cocktail of delicious intensity. Then one by one each band member stepped out and the music starts to rumble as the crowd soars and then lead singer Mike Muir bursts out riffing into the lyrics to “You Can’t Bring Me Down”. The crowd was enthusiastic about Suicidal Tendencies as they yelled out chants of ST, ST, ST. ![]() Madball released their latest album this past June, titled ‘For The Cause’. Don’t resist, just go with the flow and let the music take over your soul. Madball plays the type of music that grabs you by the balls immediately and pulls you into the chaos. Getting low end support from Hoya Roc on bass guitar and Mike Justian on drums. Lead singer Freddy Cricien was relentless as he whipped around on stage. Out of New York City, New York, Madball has been crushing audiences since 1988. Madball came out with a fury as they tore through their songs with authority. ![]() Saturday September 29 th, The Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan was the site of a sold-out show of intensity laden rock and roll.
